What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses focused ultrasound to lift and tighten the skin. It is commonly used for facial rejuvenation, targeting areas such as the brow, neck, and jawline. The technique stimulates collagen production and promotes tissue tightening, resulting in a firmer and more lifted appearance.

How Ultherapy Works?

The initial post-treatment lift occurs as a result of the contraction and denaturation of collagen within the Thermal Coagulation Points (TCPs).

Your Ultherapy results build gradually over 2-3 months, and can continue up to 6 months after the produce.

The second stage of lifting occurs over time when the body’s wound-healing response repairs the “injury” caused by the heat and build new collagen (neocollagenesis), which inherently has improved viscoelastic properties.

Depth

Due to its mechanical properties, ultrasound is the only energy source that can be microfocused beneath the skin’s surface at any depth, without affecting intervening tissue. The Ultherapy® System precisely heats tissue at 3 depths (1.5, 3.0 and 4.5mm) to target both the deep dermis and fibrous layers of the skin that are rich in collagen, including fascia (upper face), SMAS/fibrous (mid-face) and platysmal fascia (lower face and neck). When sound waves are microfocused to a predetermined depth, they cause the creation of a well-defined thermal coagulation point (TCP), while leaving the surrounding tissue unaffected.

Visualization

The patented imaging capability of Ulthera DeepSEE® Transducer is the only technology that allows doctors to see where he is treating non-invasively. Ulthera Transducer microfocus ultrasound energy below the skin to non-invasively heat tissue.

Precision

Real-time imaging allows clinicians to control exactly where energy will be deposited, and to structures such as bone and blood vessels. This enables precise and consistent treatment delivery to targeted tissue layers to ensure safe and efficacious treatments.

Natural-Looking and Noticeable Result

The proven results of Ultherapy are clear, appearing over 2-3 months as new collagen produced. Results may improve over the following 3-6 motnhs, and camn last a year or more.

Single Treatment. No Downtime.

During the treatment, ultrasound energy will be delivered using the Ultherapy® System. Depending on where you are treated, the procedure can last anywhere from 30minutes to 2 hours.
