What is Neuromodulator
Neuromodulator is an injection used to temporarily improve the look of your moderate to severe frown lines without changing the look of your whole face. The untreated facial muscles still work normally, allowing you to freely show facial expressions, such as smiling.

How does neuromodulator works?

Generally, most of the facial wrinkles are formed due to repeatedly movement of the facial muscle when performing some of the facial expression, eg. frowning.

For the treatment on the frown lines, Neuromodulator is injected into muscles between eyebrows that control facial expression. Just by employing the principles of relaxing targeted muscle, neuromodulator will block the signal from the nerve to the muscles, ultimately resulting in a reduction of muscle activity and thus temporarily preventing contraction of the muscle that cause frown lines

Therefore, neuromodulator improves appearance within days and also prevent formation of more permanent wrinkles.

How does neuromodulator works?

Neuromodulator is suitable for anyone in good health and at any age. However, do not consider this treatment if you are:

  • Pregnant
  • Breast feeding
  • Allergic to eggs
  • Taking Aminoglycoside antibiotics
  • Suffering from Myasthenia Gravis (muscle disorder) problem
Most side effects experienced by patients are brief, and linked to the injections i.e. Inflammatory reactions (redness) which may be associated with stinging or pain on pressure may occur after the injection. Swelling or mild mild bruising may develop at the injection site.
